Our Work

Much of our work is carried out for organizations with strict confidentiality requirements. This page explains how BHS documents a project, and what we can publish.

How We Document a Project

The BHS case-study format

Every BHS case study follows the same structure, so that a reader can see the problem, the environment, the approach and the capability that resulted.

01

Challenge

What security problem existed, described in terms of risk and operational impact.

02

Environment

Where the work took place and what type of organization it served.

03

BHS Approach

How the requirement was worked through: assessment, architecture, technology and integration.

04

Solution

What was implemented, at a level of detail the client is comfortable publishing.

05

Outcome

What capability was created and how the organization operates differently as a result.

06

Technology

Which BHS and partner technologies were involved, where disclosure is permitted.

BHS Approach

Assessment, architecture, technology, integration

The approach section of every case study follows the same path from understanding a requirement to delivering an operational capability.

  1. 01AssessmentUnderstand the threat, the risk and the operational requirement.
  2. 02ArchitectureDesign the security architecture that answers it.
  3. 03TechnologyApply BHS-developed and partner technology to the design.
  4. 04IntegrationBring it together into a working operational capability.

Sensitive Engagements

Selected Project — Client Confidential

Security work for government and national-security organizations frequently cannot be attributed, and publishing operational detail could itself create risk.

Where that is the case, BHS presents the engagement as a Selected Project — Client Confidential: the type of environment, the class of security challenge and the nature of the capability delivered, with no client name, location, configuration or other operational information. Any case study we publish is reviewed and approved by the client before it appears.

BHS does not publish client names, project names, deployment details or operational information without written permission.

Case Studies

Published case studies

Completed projects appear here and under Insights, where disclosure is permitted.

No case studies are published at this time. BHS publishes project case studies only where the client has approved disclosure. To discuss our experience in relation to a specific requirement, please contact us.

Discuss a Similar Requirement

Tell us about the environment you need to secure. Our teams can assess the challenge, design the capability and integrate the technology.
